making this card. I discovered a brand new challenge
site Polka Doodles. My Mom has been bugging me to
make her a Southwest card and I thought could use their
sketch to do so. I've have the background paper forever
as well as the handmade papers for the top flower layers.
The stamp is a very old one from a now-defunct Phoenix
company colored with Prismas and OMS. I made the
flowers with a CB flower die set and added some little
self-adhesive metal dots on the card corners.
Thanks for dropping in on your holiday weekend.
Lovely card Kris!!

Thanks for taking part at Polka Doodles!
Sweet greetings,

Well it definately looks Southwestern to me, especially since I'm a Yankee and we have no cacti in these parts.
ReplyDeletethis is beautiful Kris! The paper is perfect for the Southwest theme. Great take on the sketch. I hope I get a chance to try this one myself. I love it! xxD
