Oh So Wise Dad

I send a card to my folks every week and enclose their crossword puzzles (our paper’s large ones are different from theirs). A couple of weeks ago I did a separate card for my Mom so I needed to catch up with a little one just for Dad. This was a quick one using my Cricut. Instead of using my Nesties for the mats behind the owl (from HEA), I used the award from PS (roly-poly feature). There is no shadow so I just cut one .25” smaller than the other and I think they worked out well. The branch was cut from WC and the sentiment from PS (both regular font and roly-poly). I think the paper is DCVW Spring Stack

    This is gorgeous! Love how you used the award cut goes so well with the owl and the sentiment. How lovely that you send cards regularly to your parents. Do they live far from you?. wonderful work your dad will feel so special!

    Kris this card is beautiful and I think it is so nice that you send a card every week to your parents, they must really look forward to receiveing them. I actually bought HEA just for this owl.
