There is a brand new challenge on the block...The Play Date Cafe. It's all about color. This week's challenge shows 4 colors...brown (looked kind of burgundy to me), orange, gray, and black. This background paper is one of my favorites. I think the warm colors just say autumn. I made a top-folded 5x5 card base from gray cardstock and then matted my bg paper with a dark rusty/burgundy cardstock. I used my Cricut to cut marquees from SB and then cut those in half. I cut the word "Autumn" from SYI and put that on the marquee cut. I cut the tags from GBS and stamped the sentiment (from The Paper Company Studio). The branches are from WW and the leaves are from a huge package I bought at M's last year. I added a bit of gingham ribbon, a few self-ahesive rhinestones, and a couple of black brads. If you get a chance, check out the challenge blog HERE . Julie is an amazing talent.
