Winter Wonderland


This little card is for this week's Penny Black Challenge - Winter Wonderland. I've been wanting to take a page out of Kath's book and use her fab red and robin's egg blue color combo that I soooooo admire so this is what I came up with. The stamp is "Arctic Bus" colored with Prismas and OMS. I also used my CB with the Swiss Dots embossing folder, the EK Success trees border punch, a Sizzix snowflake, and a button from my stash. The sentiment is from The Paper Studio Company and the paper is Making Memories. It is difficult to see in this pic but I also used a DecoArt Glistening Snow Writer on the hats and the "snow".

    Kris, this is adorable ... that penguin's hat flying in the air made me smile. Your hibiscus blooms are gorgeous! Here in mid-Missouri, I still have geraniums in bloom ... it's just crazy! I've usually put Christmas lights and decorations in my planters by now, but I don't have the heart to pull up the geraniums and I'm not sure how to incorporate geraniums into Christmas!
