Polkadoodle Challenge

TGIF! and time for our weekly Polkadoodles Challenge. We have a wonderful sketch this week provided by Nikky and in addition can only use only 3 colors.

My colors are copper, taupe, and royal blue (I figure the ivory doesn't count-LOL!). I rotated the sketch 90 degrees. I used paper and flowers from the Sugar Birdies CD layering the flowers and tying them with twine. The sentiment is from All Around & Everywhere. I used a Martha Stewart border punch for the sentiment and the mat, then notched the mat on both ends to slide the sentiment in. I finished with a couple of copper-colored gems. Remember that this is also the last week for our MEGA coloring contest so please hop over to the Challenge Blog to join in the fun of this sketch contest and also to show off your coloring skills in our MEGA coloring contest.

  2. Kris, I love this card. What wonderful colors, and oh those flowers are super fantastic. BTW, girl....I made a cute tea cup challenge card for the BBTB2 a week ago and I used the "Hippie Chick" papers you gave me.
Everyone agrees....it's a great hippy kinda paper but serves well for an Asian theme. Hugs.
