Happy Friday! Must get some housework done here today, but since it's going to be 110 degrees that's OK. But first, I'll play along with Unity Stamp Company's Friends with Flair.
I love combining images from one set with sentiments from another. I've had the "By a Thread" Itty-Bitty set for quite some time and when the "Marionette Doll" was on sale at Unity for only $2 several weeks ago, I just had to have her to make this sweet little encouragement card for my very best friend. We both have widowed Fathers and mine is usually the needy one. The last few weeks it's been kind of the opposite, so I figured this would cheer her up.
Everything else on this card is old and straight from my scrap stash (she will be proud of me for that too). I hope wherever you are is cooler than Arizona. Enjoy!
Very cute card. Perfect sentiment for the image.

ReplyDeleteKris, what a lovely card for your best friend!! Love the image and sentiments. It's so nice that both of you are able to support each other. It's not easy as parents age, and sometimes I think the roles reverse and we have to take care of them:) Have a lovely weekend!!
