In Sympathy

First a big "HELLO" to anyone coming from the Unity Show and Tell Facebook Group.  Unity Stamp Company has decided to have it's own little mini CHA show this week.  Instead of traveling to Las Vegas they are bringing their fun to us!

They are having some great impromptu sales, give-aways, and contests.  This post is all about a contest...a coloring contest.  There is a great digi image (free for the taking!) to use in any way you see fit.

Here's the image and sentiment...

...and here's my design.  I have this image (from the June KOTM) so I just stamped mine three times on white cardstock and on the yellow patterned paper.  I colored the entire first image, the two closer flowers on the second image, and only the closest flower in the third.  I cut each colored image out and popped them onto the yellow one.  I stamped the sentiment and die-cut it, then traced around the die and hand-cut the mat.  A little bling to finish it off.

Here's a close up of the layers.

I did decide to go with a sympathy sentiment.  I never have enough of this type of card and so I decided that this beautiful image would make a perfect addition to my stash.

When you click on the link at the top of the post that takes you to the Unity web site, be sure to use the link to their blog where you can join in the fun.  Hope you enjoy!
