This week is all about some fantastic new releases and the annual Brown Thursday sales event. Just look at all the new pretty rubber at Unity, and every one of these is on sale.
LEAVE a comment on this BLOG Post and you have a CHANCE to
WIN a GRAB BAG of 20 STAMPS from Unity! :) Winners will be picked and ANNOUNCED
on the Unity Blog and FACEBOOK PAGE on Tuesday Morning! Just look at all of this rubbery goodness you would win just for saying "hi"!
So I've picked a few of the new ones to play with and I hope I've done each one justice with my cards.
First up is the new quote collector's kit Lasting Thoughts. Several of the Unity designers got together and each created a beautiful quote. I've used the one from Tifany DeGough. I just layered some paper from the Glitz Uncharted Waters 6x6 pad, added some simple coloring to the sentiment, and finished it off with some enamel dots...all to keep the focus on the quote.
Now here's one using a new Wit & Wisdom stamp from Joslyn Nielson...SORRY love & prayers. I own (or have recently ordered-LOL) everyone of these. They are wonderful for creating cards quickly that have a strong focal point. Again I used a simple design with a patterned paper, a border punch, and some punched butterflies...just enough to highlight the sentiment.
Next up is one of the new sentiments from Everything More by Lisa Arana. I just love the great sentiments and perfect frame in this set which compliments her Everything Wonderful and Everything Christmas sets. I went through my scrap drawer for this one. I found several pieces from an old Basic Grey 6x6 pad and added only a journal card, some wood embellishments, twine, and sequins.
Last, but certainly not least! is the brand new set from Alyssa Bennett...Hello Little One. This is one of Alyssa's first releases with Unity and I am certainly looking forward to more. All I can say about this one is how cute are these little animals???
This is the end of the hop. I want to say THANK YOU for dropping by. I hope you've left a comment on each and every blog along the way...seven girls, seven blogs, seven chances to win a Unity grab bag. I'll be drawing one name from all the comments on Monday evening. Remember to check the Unity Facebook page or blog on Tuesday to see if you've won.
Lastly, I hope my hop-friends and I have enabled you to shop...shop...shop. Just click on the sale banner below and you'll be right where you need to be. Remember that all of the new releases are on sale and everything else (some exclusions apply) is 55% off. Happy Thanksgiving...stay safe.

ReplyDeleteYour first card from the Lasting Thoughts set is very nice. I like the layered colors and the great sentiment being the focus - just having the background cut out and the enameled dots. Makes a very pretty card. The Sympathy card is lovely. The colors are very nice and the cut outs just add such a softness and makes it comforting. Butterflies seem to do that. Such a beautiful card that seems so easily done with these nice Wit and Wisdom stamps. The Kindness card is just so sweet. I love the colors of the journal card on the background papers colors with the sentiment added. That little wooden owl just tops it off. Lastly the baby card is precious. It looks very doable too. Sweet stamps on cute background.
