Let's Hang Out

So glad to see Friday.  My hubby is suppose to have every other Friday off but we haven't had a Friday together since the end of January.  He is not working today and it will be nice to have some time together starting with the fact that we slept in until 6:45 - a real rarity for us.  But before we go out for breakfast (haven't done that in ages!) I'll get my Unity Friends with Flair post up here.

I think anyone who has seen Unity's March KOTM and the image of the adirondack chairs was immediately swooning...me included.  I couldn't wait to get that image inked up and colored with my distress markers.  I wanted those chairs and the card to have a warm and comfortable feel to them and kind of got carried away distressing (down to the cardstock) my main background paper.  Oh well, maybe it lends a bit of charm???  Other than that there is a bunch of layering (weird for me these days), a Project Life journal card, and some self-adhesive gems.

    Loved this card on Friday…still love it today! Wonderful colors and a carefree sentiment. Makes me wish summer would hurry.
