Unity Friday - FWF

Hello everyone.

 

I haven't played along with Unity's

Friends With Flair Friday challenge in forever!

 

In honor of the Phyllis Harris releases this week

(PSST!, all Phyllis Harris is 50% off) I decided

to play with one of my favorites from a few month ago.

 

This card uses what I call my

"whatever color medium is laying on the desk" technique-ha, ha!

 

I started by stamping the images and sentiment on watercolor paper.

Then I applied a wash of watercolors and let that dry.

I added some additional watercolor to the images

and then used Prismacolor pencils for her hair.

Finally, I added some chalk pastels around the edges

to try to get a bit more depth.

See what I mean about the various color mediums?

 

Anyway, here's how it turned out.
I just love this sentiment.
