The challenge this time was that the card had to have an interactive feature. Well, I was stumped for a while since I blew all of my “creative juices” on my ice cream cone “hidden feature” for Polka Doodles. BUT, this is what I came up with. I used IA for the strawberry – shadow (red), regular (red) and black out (chocolate) cut at 3.5”. I then cut another blackout in white at 2.75” for the insert. When I layered the strawberry I was very careful to only glue just around the very edge so the smaller one can be pulled out easily. I cut the chocolate with some decorative scissors, and added a bunch of doodling. “Mmmmm…” and “indulge” are from GS, and “GOOD” and “It’s Your Day” are from SS. I computer-generated “pick me” and hand-cut the little label to attach to the strawberry top. The paper is DCWV Sweet Stack. Please check out the Chirper Challenge HERE. Someone who plays along this week will be selected to be a guest designer for our next challenge - how fun would that be?!?!?
Kris that strawberry looks good enough to eat. I love cards with hidden elements.
