Hats off to you

Thank goodness I finally finished my graduation card obligations.  It's not that I didn't want to, it's the colors.  Of course, I asked both Moms what the girls colors were...one (Bill's niece graduating from Pharmacy School) is bright red with an olive green hood.  She goes to the University of New Mexico and red is their main color but it's like making a Christmas card.  The other (my good scrapppin' buddy Sandy's daughter) is graduating from Loyola Law School and at least the colors are maroon and gold.  It's the only one I'm posting.  Besides with my niece you never know what color her hair is going to be from day-to-day so I'm leaving that to the very end.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Recollections
Patterned Paper: the Paper Studio
Image: Pure Innocence digi
Sentiments: ditto by Studio G
Other: tassel-gold gloss, shaped card-Cricut-Wild Card

It's my firt time making a tassel so I'm fairly pleased.  I also put the image and the larger sentiment off of the card but level on the bottom so that it would stand properly.  Her robe is not as dark as I would like so I might do more "doctoring" this afternoon...wish it wasn't Monday tomorrow.

  1. Love the graduation card, and how you have it shaped like a hat. Never would have come up with that
