Well last week I gave you sneak peek of a little something I made for my friends for our card-making weekend. Here's the finished product. I had 3 little 2010 calendars left over from making some post-it note holders before Christmas and I thought this would be a cute little memento that could be set by the computer at home or work. The easel card is 4.5" square. For the face I cute a 3" square piece and punched out the center to make a frame for my computer-generated sentiment. Then I punched each side with a Fiskar's border punch. I added a branch (SYI) and butterfly (GS) cut with my Cricut and some other butterflies using a MS punch. I glued down the front edge of the calendar and popped up the back with foam dimensionals. The paper is double-sided from open stock at Joann's (Heidi Grace/Fiskars). Thanks for taking another look. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
I was 1 of the recipients of this lovely gift. It is just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI missed that you didn't have a post last week. I look forward to Friday morning and seeing your beautiful and sometimes clever cards.

Kris, I guess we both have calendars on our minds right now, yours is precious, love it for beside the computer. Hugs
ReplyDeleteI too am the recipient of one of these calendars and I can tell you it's beautiful... So clever, and the papers are fantastic. What a wonderful way to check out the date each day, and then onto the next month.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kris...it is lovely and I had so much fun with you, and Deb and Sandy and our Card Over.
Hugs.
