Calendar Easel Card

Well last week I gave you sneak peek of a little something I made for my friends for our card-making weekend. Here's the finished product. I had 3 little 2010 calendars left over from making some post-it note holders before Christmas and I thought this would be a cute little memento that could be set by the computer at home or work. The easel card is 4.5" square. For the face I cute a 3" square piece and punched out the center to make a frame for my computer-generated sentiment. Then I punched each side with a Fiskar's border punch. I added a branch (SYI) and butterfly (GS) cut with my Cricut and some other butterflies using a MS punch. I glued down the front edge of the calendar and popped up the back with foam dimensionals. The paper is double-sided from open stock at Joann's (Heidi Grace/Fiskars). Thanks for taking another look. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

  3. I too am the recipient of one of these calendars and I can tell you it's beautiful... So clever, and the papers are fantastic. What a wonderful way to check out the date each day, and then onto the next month.
Thank you, Kris...it is lovely and I had so much fun with you, and Deb and Sandy and our Card Over.
    Hugs.
