5 for 5 Thanksgiving - Texture

Welcome to the last day of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Texture". We are all sharing a project where we used texture in some way. Each day our 5 Designers have posted a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme.

Here is my card featuring "texture".

This is very old Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I embossed it on white cardstock and then blended in Rusty Hinge and Shabby Shutters distress ink.  The leaves are die-cut (Lawn Fawn-Stitched Leaves) on watercolor paper and colored with various distress inks.

Here's the list of the other 4 girls participating.

I'm sorry to see this little hop end.  I hope you'll return in December for some Christmas inspiration.

5 for 5 Thanksgiving - Turkey

Welcome to Day 4 of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Turkey". We are all sharing a project where we used a turkey. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme.

Here is my card featuring a "turkey".

The image and sentiment are from Unity Stamp Company.
The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils and the stamped feather portion is cut off.  I then popped his body up over parts of 3 paper flowers and stamped the sentiment directly onto the patterned paper (DCWV).

5 for 5 Thanksgiving - Watercolor

Welcome to Day 1 of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Watercolor". We are all sharing a project where we used a watercolor technique. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme.

Here is my card featuring "water color".

The image is from C.C. Designs - Fall Hansel.  Every time I de-stash my stamps I hesitate over this one because I love him so much.  Can never bring myself to part with him.  He is "water-colored" with distress markers and a good old paint brush and water.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company and paper from my stash.  I also used part of a kraft-colored doily, some twine, and sequins.

Here's the list of the other 4 girls participating.
